District Level Inter-Collegiate Sports competition for PU Board Colleges
Seshadripuram Independent Pre University College Mysuru in association with Department of Pre-University Education, Mysuru organized a District Level Inter- Collegiate sports meet on 28th of August 2018, in the college premises. Sri. Tej Kumar, the 1st grand master of Karnataka and the recipient of Ekalavya award, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that one should give equal importance to sports and education, as sports also plays a vital role in a student’s life.
Around 400 students of various colleges in and around Mysuru participated in the events like Table tennis, floor ball, net ball and chess. The Chief Guest, of the valedictory programme, Dr. Dayanand, Deputy Director PUE, congratulated the prize winners and distributed prizes for the students who secured prizes at various levels of the competitions.
