Code of Conduct

There are defined Do's and Don'ts for the students to follow very strictly. It is directed that all the students get to be aware of the rules and purely follow the rules.

Do's for all the students to follow

  • Compulsory 75% Attendance - It's the Law; Leave of Absence - Prior Permission to be taken
  • Bring these daily: Student Identity Card and Library Card
  • Use Indoor Games facility during your free time
  • Uniform Compulsory except on Wednesdays
  • Don't be a litter bug: Get habitual - Ensure to keep the college Campus and also City clear

Don'ts for all the students to abide by

  • No use of Cellphones in the classroom. College Campus is strictly a No Mobile Phones Zone
  • No Ragging: College Campus is strictly a Anti Ragging Zone - Say no to Ragging
  • No Birthday Celebrations allowed in the College Campus
  • No Cheating allowed in the form of copying in tests and exams

In case of absence the candidate has to produce a Medical Certificate or a letter issued by the parents, validating the absence.

Any aversion to studies, the indifference and Inattentiveness towards learning would be viewed very seriously and appropriate action will be taken against such students.

Every student should completely abide by the rules set by the college and should behave responsibly maintaining excellent discipline in the college.

Students should bear in mind that all the infrastructure and the properties are meant for their beneficial use. Therefore they should take good care while handling and protecting the college property. Cost in full will be recovered from such students who tamper, damage or destroy any college property.

Admission to the next higher class in the College is not automatic. It is always subject to overall satisfactory progress, behavior and conduct of the student in conformity with the tradition and rules of the college. Such students who are guilty of indiscipline will not be admitted to the next higher class in the college even if they pass the public examination.


All applications for issue of certificates must be addressed to the Principal in the prescribed proforma which the college office will issue. If the certificate has to be sent by post they have to produce a self addressed envelope affixing appropriate postal stamp.

Generally a notice of 48 hours is required for issuance of certificates. Duplicate Certificates will not be issued.

The Transfer Certificate is sent only to the college or institution where the student has secured admission and strictly not issued to the student. Application for the T. C. should be made through the Principal of the college where admission has been secured. The Transfer Certificate will not be sent if the student has any dues to the college by way of fees, fine, books from the library, etc.

A Migration Certificate should be obtained by a student only when he / she joins another University which will be issued by the Director of Pre-University Board. To obtain the Migration Certificate, a 'No Due' Certificate from the college should be enclosed along with the application.

Copies of certificate may be attested by a Gazetted Officer or by the Head of a Department of any College and not necessarily by the Principal.

Student applying for certificates, testimonials and other documents requiring the Principal's signature should contact the clerk concerned since all details have to be verified before the documents are signed.
